Ladies Night Out Held in Old Town Katy

On Thursday, July 22nd the Old Town Katy Businesses got together and held a Ladies Night Out. The purpose of the event was to promote friendship, shopping and dining at the local businesses.  The event took place from 6 -9 p.m.  It was truly a sight to see with all the ladies and sometimes gentlemen going from store to store and enjoying the hors d’ oeuvre, wines, lemonade and teas.  There were drawings for door prizes at participating stores.

Participating stores included: Back Room Beads, Children’s Carousel, Cooper Farms Peaches, Cross & Crown Caterers, Curtain Call Interiors, Dovetail Antiques, Excessories, Frank Bielec (Katy House of Flowers), Frosted Betty Bakeshop, HEB (Pink Safari), Katy House of Flowers, Kay’s Tea Parlour, KT Antiques, Limited Edition Art & Antiques, NY Texas Style, Ohana Shaved Ice, Pink Safari, Please & Thank You Home Cooking, Posh Memorable Creations, Salt & Pepper Catering & Restaurant, Sweet Things Ice Cream Shoppe (Pink Safari), The Cottage Door, The Healing Connection, The Katy News (Pink Safari), The Pawty Palace, The Shop on Third Street and Wright’s of Texas (Excessories).

Event goers enjoyed the event so much they asked for the group to have it again, possibly on a Saturday afternoon to allow more time for Shopping and Browsing. Stay tuned for more information on upcoming events.
