Child Advocates of Fort Bend Announces 2012 Gala Plans

Child Advocates of Fort Bend (CAFB) invites you to step into the rainbow world of sweets at its Candy Land Gala, May 5, 2012 in the Ballroom at Sugar Land Marriott Town Center beginning at 6:00 pm.  The evening will be a wondrous landscape of color and pizzazz. CAFB is thrilled to have Dee Koch, grant officer at The George Foundation, serving as Honorary Chair for the Candy Land Gala. "It is such an honor to be a part of CAFB's efforts to bring the community together around such a critical issue.  By supporting the 2012 Gala, I feel each of us, no matter how small or large our role, can support CAFB in continuing the outstanding work that is making a difference for so many children in our community," says Dee Koch. Presenting sponsors for this exciting event include Brian and Martha Baer.

"At the very heart of this event is the belief that every child deserves a safe and healthy childhood. Community participation in our gala fundraiser is crucial to our mission of helping the children and families who need us," says Ruthanne Mefford, executive director at Child Advocates of Fort Bend.

Want to join in the fun? Sponsorship opportunities are now available and range from $1,500 to $10,000. If you are interested in becoming a sponsor, donating an auction item or attending the event, please call 281-344-5108 or visit www.cafb.org for more details.
